Leading creative agency, The Marketing Store asked Lucid to design and bring to life a futuristic playground for Adidas Made Originals.

A unique take on spatial design saw tech, art, music, culture and fashion intersect to create a multi-level, multi-dimensional grid that shape-shifted between a hub for creativity and play then transformed into a 360 music venue at night.

Lucid worked closely with the team at The Marketing Store to create bespoke video content which simultaneously celebrated the cultural heritage of the brand as well as the creativity and innovation of the youth today. By suspending LED video cubes to create a continuous run of video screen overhead, the design allowed for the brand’s iconic three stripes to dominate the length of the venue, whilst the emblematic Adidas trefoil appeared as if it was 3D icon, floating in mid-air above the crowd.

Taking inspiration from London youth culture and the best of adidas Originals, the event and resulting design provided an immersion into the future that harnessed the energy of LDN’s youth, representing a new vision of the city and an interactive playground for gen-z.
