A pop up venue constructed entirely of shipping containers: for 6 sun-drenched days and scorching nights of August 2015, Adidas made this little patch of South London the home of football.
In order to redefine their relationship with the teen market, Adidas scrapped their entire football footwear range and launched only 2 new products, the X and Ace. To showcase this unprecedented move, a series of challenges allowed teams to battle to represent the UK at an international competition in Marseille, and players to test their ability in immersive and interactive challenges. Playing host to the world's premier music and footballing stars, Base Brixton became London's hottest venue.
Our team worked alongside a core group of agencies and producers to create an interactive, video-mapped environment featuring our unique video flex and diffused LED conduit solutions. Lighting effects and chases were used to further add to the environments specified by Adidas whilst we developed and fabricated bespoke signage and lighting for product displays.
